PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch with softness and easily obtained by simple constitution, and capable of detecting force applied from the outside. SOLUTION: This switch 1 has a hollow, tubular electrode 2 made of flexible conductor such as conductive rubber or conductive resin and a rod-shaped electrode 3 thinner than the inner diameter of the tubular electrode 2, also made of flexible conductor such as conductive rubber of conductive resin, and when force is not applied to the switch 1 from the outside, the tubular electrode 2 and the rod-shaped electrode 3 are separated by a spacer 4, but when external force is applied to the switch, the tubular electrode 2 is bent by the force, or collapsed and deformed, and the inner surface of the tubular electrode 2 comes in contact with the rod-shaped electrode 2 to electrically connect them.
