PACKET RECEIVER, PACKET RECEPTION METHOD AND RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance communication quality by suppressing aborted packets due to traffic fluctuation in a relay network. SOLUTION: A reception packet 7 received from a relay line 61 via a WAN 6 is fed to a reception buffer 41 via a CPU 2 and a CPU bus 21, and stored therein in a received sequence. A pointer pointing out the reception packet 7 stored in the reception buffer 41 is stacked to a jitter queue 303 in the order of transmission by packet processing 301 of a DSP 31 and rearranged. A jitter flow control 302 conducts recovery or scale revision processing and a decoder 304 reads voice data of a corresponding packet from the reception buffer 41 in the order of pointers of the jitter queue 303 in a read timing in response to the jitter amount, decodes the data and the recovered voice signal is sent to a reception signal line 305.
