PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection television projecting an image to a screen with an optical axis at which best video luminance is obtained even in the case where the viewpoint positions of viewers is different from each other. SOLUTION: This projection television is provided with a screen 4, a video projecting device 6 projecting a video to the screen 4, a reflection mirror 5 reflecting the video from the video projecting device 6 and forming an image on the screen 4, and a rotary housing 2 housing the screen 4, the video projecting device 6 and the reflection mirror 5. The rotary housing 2 is turned by a predetermined angleθin the perpendicular direction by having a turning shaft 3 as an axial point so as to change the angle of the optical axis 9 of the video formed on the screen 4.
