<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change the display characteristics of a pointer at any time and to give a special effect to the pointer such as partial emphasis by variation of the display characteristics of the pointer in addition to the distinctive indication of an indication position by analyzing inputted trace information and judging the nature of a command, and controlling the display characteristics of the pointer according to the command of the decided nature. SOLUTION: A pointer operation analyzing means 12 analyzes coordinate data inputted by a pointer operation means 11 and discriminates the classification of operation done with a pointer operation means 11. A command and positional information as the discrimination result are sent to appropriate processing means (pointer position setting means 13, pointer property setting means 14, and effect execution display means 16) according to their nature and the process that the operation inputted by the pointer operating means 11 represents is performed. A pointer position setting means 13 receives positional information on the operation from the pointer operation means 11 and sends it to a pointer display means 15 and an effect execution display means 16 for displaying the pointer.</p> |
