<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently transfer animation information and still picture information by disposing a receiving means which receives the animation information from a host and a communication means which requests the still picture information of the host and receives it, and displaying an image based upon the animation information or still picture information. SOLUTION: Animation data outputted from a host PC to a bus 10 are demodulated by a digital video reception part 1202, written to a frame buffer 1210 by a data control part 1209, and sent to a display part 13 through a digital video transmission part 1211 and displayed. A system control part 1212 controls a high-speed serial I/F control part 1206 to send a request to transfer still picture data to the host PC 11, which sends the still picture data to the request source. The high-speed serial I/F control part 1206 expands the received still picture data by a still picture expansion part 1208 into RGB bit map data, which are written to the frame buffer 1210, sent to the display part 13, and displayed.</p> |
