PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To plot and display a graph, which is obtained by linear transformation of a graph corresponding to an inputted arbitrary functional formula, on a graph display device by easy operation. SOLUTION: Graph data (y) corresponding to an inputted arbitrary functional formula y=f(x) is plotted and displayed, and in this state, a linear transformation mode is set, and an arbitrary linear transformation matrix [a, b, c, d] is inputted to indicate execution. Then, graph plotting coordinates (x1, y1, x2, y2,... xN, yN) calculate correspondingly to the functional formula y=f(x) based on X coordinate range Xmin to Xmax are substituted into a linear transformation formula (Xn, Yn)=(axn+byn, cxn+dyn) based on the transformation matrix [a, b, c, d] to successively calculate graph plotting coordinates (X1, Y1, X2, Y2,... XN, YN) after transformation, and they are plotted and displayed as a linear transformation graph G1. A user can very easily plot and display graph data after linear transformation of the arbitrary input function formula y=f(x) by only input of the linear transformation matrix [a, b, c, d] and indication of execution of linear transformation. |
