摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To previously prevent the operation delay of the relative speed of an object and to prevent adverse influence when a lane is changed by temporarily suppressing control based on data on relative speed after a filter processing when an object is detected at an initial stage and the detected object suddenly approach. SOLUTION: An object detection means 10 detects an object on the back side of a vehicle and a relative operation means 40 calculates relative speed between the detected object and the vehicle. A filter means 41 removes an unnecessary high frequency component on obtained relative speed and a control means 42 controls the safety means 31 of the vehicle based on relative speed after the filtering. Thus, precision is improved by using relative speed after the filtering. At the initial stage of the detection of the object by the object detection means 10, a suppression means 43 operates and the suppression means 43 suppresses that the control means 42 controls the safety means 31 based on relative speed after the filter processing by the filter means 41.
