The clamp (1) for attaching an accessory to a support has two hinged jaws (2, 3) which are concave inside so that they can receive and grip a ball-and-socket joint (4). A screw located between the hinge and the portion of the jaws designed to receive the ball-and socket joint allows the jaws to tightened. An Independent claim is also included for the description of the modular system.
