PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the prevention of the pirate edition completely by applying the marking on a reflection film formed in the optical disk, detecting the position of this marking, bar-coding the detected positional information or the information regarding this positional information, and recording this bar code on the prescribed area of the disk in the manner of partially removing the reflection film. SOLUTION: The disk completed in such a manner that the reflection film is formed on the disk molded from a master disk and stuck each other, is delivered to a soft manufacturer or a factory under control of the soft manufacturer, and after the marking is applied at the secondary recording process, the accurate positional information of this mark is read out by a measuring means to obtain the positional information as the physically distinctive information of the disk. This physically distinctive information is ciphered. The signal with which this cipher is subjected to PE-PZ modulation, is recorded on the disk by a laser as the bar code signal.
