PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera that light is efficiently accumulated by a luminous member, and also whose cost is reduced by effectively using strobe light. SOLUTION: The camera is provided with a strobe circuit 4 for irradiating an object with emitted light, and an LCD for displaying various kinds of information is illuminated by luminous elements 6a and 6b, and as for the luminous elements 6a and 6b, the light is accumulated by using the light reflected by a reflecting member, or the light transmitted through a transmissive member, among the light emitted from the strobe circuit 4. By effectively using the strobe light in the above-mentioned manner, such the camera that the light is efficiently accumulated by the luminous member by a function as regular photographing auxiliary light and also whose cost is reduced.
