gasification of combustible materials, such as wastes, coal, etc. SUBSTANCE: fluidized bed furnace has approximately round horizontal cross section; it is provided with bed having fluidized medium sections, units for forming revolving flow inside fluidized bed including units for forming upwards flow of fluidizing gas towards periphery section of bed. Amount of oxygen fed to fluidized bed furnace does not exceed 30% of theoretical amount of air required for combustion. Temperature of fluidized bed ranges from 450 C to 650 C; thus, combustible gas contains large amount of combustible materials.
