SUBSTANCE: method involves applying pattern to preliminarily prepared surface of solid carrier so that it completely or partially covers the surface; illuminating pattern; creating pattern by applying to prepared surface layer of material having optical transparency at illumination with radiation having wave length within the range of from 200 to 400 nanometer or within the range of from 760 to 2,500 nanometer. Applied material has portions producing ornamental effect at illumination with radiation of 400-760 nanometer wave length. Solid carrier is preliminarily covered with additional layer of material producing ornamental effect at illumination with radiation of 400-760 nanometer wave length, with following applying onto first additional layer of second additional layer of material optically transparent at illumination with radiation of 200-2,500 nanometer wave length.
