Vacuum pipeline network (CV) comprises a number of vacuum pumps (P1-P4) connected pneumatically to the pipeline network, means for pressure determination (C2) in one or more parts of the network and controller (MP) for the pumps and network. A connection to atmosphere (L1, L2) can be made via control means (EV1, EV2) under control of controller (MP). An Independent claim is made for a procedure for pressure regulation in a vacuum pipeline network.
