PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make various components to be adsorbed efficiently adsorbed even under any temp. environment and suppress adsorbing capacity with the elapse of time when gas to be treated is passed through a filter member in one direction to adsorptively treat components to be adsorbed (especially, carbonyl group-containing compd.) in the gas to be treated. SOLUTION: A filter member 1 is equipped with a chemical adsorbent bed 2 packed with an adsorbing compd. reacting with a carbonyl group-containing compd. in gas to be treated in the presence of moisture and a chemical adsorbent 12 having H-type zeolite absorbing moisture and supporting the adsorbing compd. and a physical adsorbent bed 3 packed with a physical adsorbent 13 having activated carbon. The chemical adsorbent bed 2 is disposed on the upstream side of the physical adsorbent bed 3 in the passing direction of the gas to be treated.
