PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the surface finish of an optically shaped article. SOLUTION: A stereo-lithography apparatus is equipped with a lift control device 5 controlling the lift operation of the lift table 3 in a storage tank 1, a projector 6 irradiating the liquid surface of a photosetting resin 2 with laser, an optical filter controlling the output of the laser emitted from the projector 6, a movement control device 8 moving the projector 6 in a horizontal direction and a control computer 11 laminating desired stereo-lithographed articles on the basis of the slice data of the stereo-lithographed article in a horizontal direction to shape them and the control computer 11 applies exposure quantity larger than that of other part to the region of the part not overlapped with the slice data corresponding to one layer cured next in the slice data corresponding to one layer cured presently.
