PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve strength of an end part, and prevent generation of cracking and breakage by forming a pipe enlarging part having a taper part whose diameter is larger than outer diameter of an intake pipe and which is formed between the pipe enlarging part and an intake pipe main body, on a joining end part to a collector and the like in an intake pipe of an intake manifold. SOLUTION: In an intake manifold wherein one end part of a plurality of intake pipes 10 is connected to a collector 2 and the other end is connected to a flange 3, a pipe enlarging part 12 having a taper part 11 whose diameter is enlarged toward an end part of the intake pipe 10 is formed by pressing in a punch from an end part for example. An end part of the intake pipe 10 is inserted into a hole part 14 formed on the collector 2 or the flange 3, and the intake pipe 10 is fixed to the collector 2 or the flange 3 by means of brazing or welding W. The pipe enlarging part 12 whose diameter is larger than an outer diameter of the intake pipe 10 is formed on an end part, and thereby, a cross sectional coefficient of the end part is increased. It is thus possible to improve strength of the end part, and it is also possible to prevent generation of cracking by vibration and the like which are converged on a fixing part.
