PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of direct injection internal combustion engine which can carry out a smooth starting regardless of the temperature condition of the engine, by controlling the fuel pressure and the fuel feeding amount at the starting. SOLUTION: The fuel pressure is controlled to the high pressure side or the low pressure side, by opening or closing a solenoid selector valve. When the engine water temperature TW is less than the first specific temperature TWPFCH1 in the starting mode, the solenoid selector valve is opened, so as to control the fuel pressure to the lower pressure side (S12 and S15). On the other hand, when the condition is as TW>TWPFCH1, the solenoid selector valve is closed, so as to control the fuel pressure to the high pressure side (S12 and S16). When the fuel pressure is controlled to the high pressure side, a correction coefficient to correct the fuel injection time according to the fuel pressure is calculated.
