PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate a confirmation as to whether or not a supply of sheet to a classification pocket is appropriately performed when a transferring line is to be stopped, and further to improve a reliability on the device for preparing a sealed letter. SOLUTION: A stopping position of a classification pocket at the time when an envelope making operation is stopped in response to a jamming signal or a signal for stopping a sealed-letter preparation device through a jam sensor 18 installed on a sheet supplying path such as a transferring line 2, a unit sheet supplying section 3, a cut sheet supplying section 4 and a collective processing section 5 is set at the sheet-supply position of the unit sheet supply section 3 or the cut sheet supply section 4.
