DISPERSANT FOR ENAMEL SLURRY, ENAMEL SLURRY AND PRODUCTION OF ENAMEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a dispersant which not only shows an excellent dispersion accelerating effect but shows an effect to accelerate decomposition and combustion of org. waste during calcination, and to obtain an enamel slurry containing this agent and having excellent fluidity, and to provide a method for the production of an enamel by low temp. calcination. SOLUTION: This dispersant for an enamel slurry consists of nitrates. The enamel slurry contains frit and nitrates as the dispersant. As for the nitrates, at least one kind selected from lithium nitrate, sodium nitrate and potassium nitrate is preferably used. Preferably, the frit can be calcined at a low temp. Even when the enamel slurry is applied on the base and calcined at <=600 deg.C, black spots are hardly produced.
