PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply a power of an overall refrigerator by a power of one engine by constituting of a refrigerator body and an engine section, and using a diesel engine coupled to a refrigerator of the body through a motor-driven clutch for the engine section. SOLUTION: An engine section 3 is constituted of a diesel engine 3B coupled to a refrigerator 2 of a refrigerator body 2 through a motor-driven clutch 3A. With this constitution, the following effects are obtained. (1) when not driven, no expense is consumed. (2) Its running cost is low. (3) An electric facility may be small. (4) It can be installed at a place where no particular high voltage receiving facility exists. (5) A warm-up drive can be executed, and set with low engine horsepower. (6) In addition to a capacity control by an unloader, a capacity width can be set to 15 5o 100% by regulating a rotational speed of the engine.
