PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a puzzle parking device capable of increasing unoccupied spaces any time in the case where the parking number of vehicles is small, thereby shortening the warehousing and leaving time of the vehicle without decreasing the maximum parking number, and remarkably enhancing smoothness. SOLUTION: This stage piling puzzle parking device is provided with a lift device 12, a stage piling buffer shelf 14 and a plurality of vertically and horizontally feeding shelves 16 adjacently and planarly arranged. The lift device 12 and the vertically and horizontally feeding shelf 16 has a vertically and horizontally feeding mechanism for mounting a pallet 1 positioned thereon to the adjacent shelf in the horizontal and orthogonal direction. In addition, a stage piling buffer shelf 14 has a feed mechanism for mounting the pallet positioned thereon to the adjacent lift device 12 and the vertically and horizontally feeding shelf 16 in any one direction of the horizontal and orthogonal two directions and a shift mechanism for shifting the unoccupied pallet positioned thereon in stage piling upward. Thereby a plurality of the unoccupied pallet are stage-piled on the stage piling buffer shelf 14, and housed on the stage piling buffer shelf or the vertically and horizontally feeding shelf 16 adjacent thereto to increase the vertically and horizontally feeding shelf 16 unoccuping the pallet so as to house the real vehicle pallet 1b thereon.
