<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce adhesion of dross on a back face of a workpiece and improve processing tolerance in a nozzle height direction by installing a second nozzle which is coaxial with a first nozzle in the first nozzle, and supplying assist gas to a processed part of a work through the first nozzle and the second nozzle. SOLUTION: Assist gas flows to an outer nozzle 17 and an inner nozzle 18 respectively from first and second assist gas inducing ports 19, 20. A glass plate 14 is used for preventing the assist gas from the second assist gas inducing port 20, from flowing into a conical prism 13B. The inner nozzle 18 is attached to two porous processing lenses 15A, 15B by sealing the nozzle with Teflon and the like not to leak the assist gas through holes. The inner nozzle 18 is also attached in a manner that its center is matched with an axial center of the laser beam. Cutting is performed with the laser beam condensed at one point by the processing lenses 15A, 15B. By effects of the inner nozzle, pressure distribution of the assist gas is improved, so as to reduce adhesion of dross.</p> |
