PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sliding sinker for fishing capable of preventing the breakage of fishing line and the deformation of a line-passing hole of the sinker by forming an edge of a line-passing hole at a specific position. SOLUTION: The sliding sinker 1 for fishing has a line-passing through-hole 3. The line-passing hole has a rounded opening edge 4. Preferably, the edge 4 and the inner wall surface of the line-passing hole 3 are made to by slippery. The sliding sinker 1 having the line-passing through-hole 3 preferably has an eyelet member having round opening edge and inserted into the end of the line-passing hole 3. More preferably, a rigid line-passing pipe is inserted into the line-passing hole 3 and the eyelet members are inserted into both ends of the line-passing pipe.
