MANUFACTURE OF ARTIFICIAL MARBLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an artificial marble by which it is possible to upgrade the surface smoothness and make the appearance presentable. SOLUTION: This artificial marble is made to have the appearance of a pattern by adding a pattern material 1 to a back layer 5 to be formed by curing a resin composition. In this case, gel coat 6 is previously set when the back layer 5 is formed, and are 0.6-1.2 mm thick. Thus, it is possible to absorb an unevenness in the surface of the back layer 5 to eliminate dents in the surface when the back layer 5 is formed.
