PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct the motor step number for skew correcting or TOF(top- of-form) treatment in paper feeding process. SOLUTION: The feed motor step number for skew correcting or TOF treatments out of data concerning feeding of paper stored in a storage part (cairo.par) 52 of a personal computer 1 is made free to rewrite by a binary editor etc., to change a memory data of an RAM 22 by temporarily storing an initial value data of the feed motor step number for the above treatment in an ROM 21 on the side of a printer 2 in the RAM 22, a changing command (page information command) including a new data of the feed motor step number stored in the storage part 52 is transmitted to the printer 2 by making it by a printer driver 51 of the personal computer 1 and the memory data of the RAM 22 is rewritten in accordance with a data of the feed motor step number in the received changing command by a CPU 20 of the printer 2.
