PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring rice container which can effectively exhibit an insect repelling effect from the front side of rice toward the entire rice inside the rice container, allowing visual confirmation of the reduction of the insect repelling effect and easy exchange of an insecticide with that reduction of its effect from the front side. SOLUTION: At the upper part of the main body 3 of the rice container, a rice storage chamber 4 having a rice charging port 7 is provided and at the lower part of the main body 3 of the rice container, a rice measuring part 5 and a measurement operating part 6 are provided. A front lid 9, which can be opened/closed, is provided on the front side of the rice storage chamber 4, a transparent part is formed on the front lid 9, and a bag storage chamber 19 is formed on the rear side of this transparent part. A transparent insecticide bag 21 storing an insecticide 20 to be discolored with the volatilization of chemicals is placed in the bag storage chamber 19 so as to be put in/out. An air ventilating hole 29 communicated with the inside of the rice storage chamber 4 is formed on the bag storage chamber 19.
