PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change the relationship of a rotation quantity of a rotation shaft of a motor part and a movement quantity of an output rod without modifying the motor part. SOLUTION: This linear actuator is provided with a motor part 1 provided with a hollow rotation shaft 2, and an output rod 16-1 penetrating through the hollow rotation shaft 2. In the linear actuator, the output rod 16-1 is straight moved utilizing a rotation motion of the hollow rotation shaft 2. The motor part 1 and a motion converting means for converting the rotation motion of the hollow rotation shaft 2 to a straight motion of the output rod 16-1 are modulated respectively and they are attachably/detachably connected.
