摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a compact engine by improving the crankcase bleeding passage of a V-type engine so that an inlet system and the crankcase can be connected each other by a separate passage. SOLUTION: A blowby gas passage 46 and a new air passage 47 corresponding to a blowby gas chamber and a new air chamber connected in a crankcase independently each other, are installed on the ravine part between two banks arranged in V-shape along the axis of the crankshaft. Hence, the separated blowby gas passage and the new air passage are formed through the effective utilization of dead space between both banks to prevent complication and enlargement of engine structure. In particular, the blowby gas passage is prepared at the place close to a center between both banks, the new air passage at the distant place from the center, and passages 46a, 47a extending from those passage to a cylinder head side along the cylinder shaft are diverged. Thereby, the passage to be connected to an inlet system installed between V banks can be formed easily, and the protruded amount of the passage between both banks can be suppressed.
