PURPOSE: A multi-functional controller is provided to control an electric appliance at a remote place through a web, thereby reducing the power consumption. CONSTITUTION: A multi-functional controller comprises a means(3) for applying environmental information which is received from an electric appliance such as a sound device, an image device, and a cooling device to an integrated controller(home manager), a means for determining the environmental information in the home manager and for transmitting instructions, means(1,2,4) for applying the information which is applied from the home manager to a main controller(5) or applying the information which is applied form the home manager to a module(6), and means(3,6) for controlling a controlled object through the information which is applied from the home manager.
