PURPOSE: A brush-type hair dryer is provided, which radiates far infrared ray in addition to heat and is chargeable. CONSTITUTION: A hair dryer comprises a front case (10) which comprises a brush plate part (11) and a handle part (12); a rear case (10'); a socket (17) which is placed between the brush plate part (11) and the handle part (12) and is connected with a switching part (15) electrically; a lamp-type heating member (20) which is placed in the space formed between the front case (10) and the rear case (10'), behind of the brush plate part (11), and radiates far infrared ray and heat through the radiation holes (11a); and a concave reflection plate (21) which is placed on the inside of the rear case (10') to collect far infrared ray and heat and to reflect them. The brush plate part (11) is provided with a plurality of radiation holes (11a) for radiating far infrared ray and heat, and teeth of brush (11b). The handle part (12) is provided with a power circuit part (14) containing DC transformation circuit (14a) connected with the external AC cable (13), and a switching part (15) turning on and off the power.
