PURPOSE: A guide apparatus for forming polygonal coil spring is provided to prevent any surface deformation upon forming a polygonal coil spring and to retain an inherent angle formed on trapezoid by attaching a final guide to an end point of a guide rail and forming a polygonal guide groove in the final guide to allow a wire rod to move along the guide groove and then to wind around a central rod. CONSTITUTION: In a guide apparatus for forming polygonal coil spring, a plurality of guide rollers are provided at an entrance section, an intermediate section, and an outlet section. The guide rollers in the entrance section are transversely arranged to symmetrically opposite each other. The guide rollers in the intermediate section are vertically arranged at one side of a bracket to symmetrically opposite each other. In the outlet section, upper rollers and lower rollers are vertically arranged to symmetrically opposite each other, wherein a guide rail(12) is mounted between the upper rollers and the lower rollers. Wire rod(19) passes through the entrance section in which a plurality of small guide rollers are provided. Then, the wire rod(19) passes through the intermediate section comprised of large rollers provided on upper side and lower side while closely contacts with a guide rail(12). After then, the wire rod(19) moves toward the outlet section provided at the last stage and passes through guide grooves set up on the last guide. Finally, the wire rod(19) is introduced into a coiling point(17, 18), and wound around a central rod(26). Accordingly, the external shape and configuration of coil spring cannot be deformed.
