PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin sealed battery having high volume energy density and little performance deterioration by using an enclosure of a laminate sheet. SOLUTION: In a thin sealed battery storing positive and negative electrodes equipped with current corrector tabs 5, 6 respectively to extract electric energy outside a battery and a power generating element having electrolyte in a flat and cylindrical laminate enclosure, the laminate enclosure is formed into a back to back stuck part 1b by mutually fusing the inside surfaces of the end parts of the laminate material facing each other, and the back to back stuck part 1b is disposed at a position where it is not superimposed over any of the positive and negative collector tabs 5, 6.
