INSTRUMENT FOR MEASURING DEPENDENCY BETWEEN SOFTWARE MODULES

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a dependency measuring instrument which eliminates personal influences and objectively evaluates the conventionally vague dependency between modules by numerizing the evaluation by the invented mathematical expression. SOLUTION: A software dependency analyzing device having an object code storage part 1 which stores software to be analyzed, an allclass-combination derivation part 2 which derive the round-robin combinations of modules, analysis parts 3 to 7, and a class dependence relation repository 8 which stores analytic values is used to quantize the dependency of the software as one of indexes indicating the quality.
