PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of displaying, in a simple construction, a light ray image usable as a pointer image for an analog numerical display, and facilitating highly detailed pointer image formation. SOLUTION: This display device comprises a plurality of micro optical elements 33 having a reflection surface 33a of substantially circular-arc cross section and formed integrally in the reverse side of substantially plate-shaped optical elements 5, 7, 9 so as to extend in parallel to one another circumferentially of a specified virtual circle and be aligned periodically, concentrically and radially thereof, and a plurality of light sources 10 arranged opposite outer peripheral end surfaces 5a, 7a, 9a of the optical elements 5, 7, 9. And, light 15 from each light source 10 is incident on the optical elements 5, 7, 9 from the end surfaces 5a, 7a, 9a, and is emitted forward by total internal reflection off each reflection surface 33a, so that, for each light source 10 shining from the curvature center side of the micro optical elements 33, a pointer image that extends radiantly and linearly can be produced.
