PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record densely the data and to effectively maximally use the capacity of an optical disk while preventing the occurrence of error during reproduction by preventing an unrecorded gap and the overwrite from occurring in a linking part when the linking is performed related to a recording type optical disk of a DVD-R, etc., and to prevent an error from occurring due to deviation of a focal point during linking and to surely record the data when the linking is performed in such a recording type optical disk. SOLUTION: A video disk recorder 100 is provided with a function performing the linking for the optical disk 1. The recorder 100 is provided with a prescribed data built-in circuit 13 (fixed data supply means) supplying the prescribed fixed dataϕas the reproducing data, and when the linking is performed, the linking is performed in a CPM area on the optical disk 1, and the fixed dataϕare recorded beforehand in the CPM area, and when the CPM area performed with the linking are reproduced, the fixed dataϕsupplied from the prescribed data built-in circuit 13 are read out as the reproducing data.
