<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an on-vehicle radio equipment side possible to discriminate whether a danger warning information sent from a road side radio equipment is for the driver's own vehicle or for a vehicle on the opposite lane, and to prevent a driver from being annoyed by such problem by setting a road side antenna identification number to the road side transmission data signal of the road side radio equipment. SOLUTION: Concerning the road side antenna identification number of a road side transmission data signal to be received by a traveling vehicle 3, a road side antenna identification number '00000001' applied peculiarly to the road side antenna of #1 is first received, and when the vehicle 3 enters a passage zone covered by the next road side antenna of #2, '00000010' is received and according to shift to the communication zone of respective road side antennas, the road side antenna identification numbers in ascending order are successively received. When any road side transmission data signal excepting for this road side antenna identification number are received or when the road side antenna identification number out of ascending order is received later, it is recognized the information is not issued for the lane where the present vehicle is travelling, and useless alarm does not annoy the driver.</p> |
