摘要 PURPOSE: A circuit for interfacing color Liquid Crystal Display(LCD) of a cellular phone, is provided to supply a circuit for charging an interface between a cellular phone control circuit and a color LCD controller. The circuit directly outputs a signal suitable for a normal LCD controller, if the normal letter-typed LCD is replaced by a color LCD for displaying images or letters in color. CONSTITUTION: A circuit for interfacing color Liquid Crystal Display(LCD) of a cellular phone, delivers a synchronous for a read, green, blue signal, and a horizontal, vertical, or complex synchronous to requested images, by comprising the color LCD in the cellular phone supporting a letter-typed black and white LCD. The circuit has a first memory(120), a main controller(110), a second memory(150), a multiplexer(140), and a color processor(160). The first memory(120) stores data for expressing a color LCD interface program, a point, and a color. The main controller(110) reads and executes the color LCD interface program. The second memory(150) stores a page of image information generated according to execution of the program. The multiplexer(140) selects and outputs one among input signals, basing whether the images displaying on the color LCD are pictures like photos or images expressing an operating state of the cellular phone. The color processor(160) outputs an internal complex synchronous signal, a digital red, green, and blue signal, by inputting various commands and index data supplied by the controller of the black and white LCD in the controller.
