PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk video camera by which recording and reproduction can stably be conducted on an optical disk by suppressing generation of air vibration in a case panel even when a shock is exerted to the case panel. SOLUTION: A shock absorbing material is fitted to a position facing the outside of a 2nd panel 214 of a case panel 210 of a main body 200 of the disk video camera 1000A, and a cover 218 is provided to cover the outside of the shock absorbing material. On the occurrence of vibration because the cover 218 is knocked, etc., this vibration is delivered from the cover 218 to the shock absorbing material and attenuated and absorbed by the shock absorbing material and the shock is scarecely delivered to the 2nd panel 214.
