PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mineral battery element capable of taking out energy in a substantially constant way and provide a mineral battery. SOLUTION: A mineral battery element 3 is made of sintered powder of polarity crystal substance. A mineral battery 10 includes a plurality of the mineral battery elements 3 between a positive plate 1 and a negative plate 2. A positive polarity edge and a negative polarity edge of each battery element 3 are connected electrically to the positive plate 1 or the negative plate 2. A side face of each battery element 3 is put in an electrically insulated state between the positive plate 1 and the negative plate 2.
