<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of realizing a reduction of the cost by lowering the allowable rating torque required for a motor and obtaining a high-definition and high-resolution image with little image irregularity in a sheet feeding direction. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a photoreceptor drum (photoreceptive rotating body) 3, the motor 40 driving and rotating the drum 3, a drum driving gear (rotating body of an image forming device main body) 39, the recessed part (coupling part) 43a of a drum flange inner side 43 which is coupled with a coupling projecting part (coupling part) 42 arranged at the center of the gear 39 and to which driving force is transmitted from the gear 39, and a driving circuit for normally and reversely rotating the motor 40. In such a case, the device is provided with a driving releasing means (a solenoid 47 and a coupling releasing lever 45) for cutting/connecting the transmission of driving from the motor 40 to the drum 3 halfway through a transmission path, so that the drum 3 is rotated by receiving the rotational driving force from the motor 40 only when the rotation of the motor 40 is in normal direction.</p> |
