PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resource management device and a resource managing method for an information processor which actualize proper and efficient resource management through simple control. SOLUTION: An operating system 10 manages memory management information 13 and process management information 14, and places a main memory release process 40 in an executable state (schedule expecting state) when the amount of a free memory managed with the memory marfagement information 13 decreases below a specific value. The main process release process 40 operates while referring to the memory management information and process management information 14 managed by the operating system 10, and executes a free area deficiency wait step 41, a target process selection step 42, and a memory release step 43 first to release the memory allocated to a process selected in a target process selection step 42. |
