PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assure free movement of disk holder by isolating an optical disk and a flange of tension arm for the minimum space or more which can prevent mutual interference considering the thickness and deformation of optical disk and isolating the flange and a case for the minimum space or more considering deformation of the disk holder and the thickness of the flange. SOLUTION: An interval 11 having minimum height of H1 or more is formed between a flange 3a and an optical disk 10 so that when an optical disk 10 is inserted to a case 1, it does not interfere with an tension arm 10 and moreover an interval 12 having minimum height of H2 or more is formed between the flange 3a of the tension arm 8 and the internal surface of the case 30. Any interference is never generated, during the recording/reproducing operation, between the disk and tension arm or between the tension arm and case by assuring sufficient interval between the optical disk and tension arm in the cartridge case and between the optical disk and the case.
