PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately confirm inhabitation of termites and attain termiticidal effect by keeping the interior of a case in which an attracting material is housed at a proper temperature and surely attracting termites. SOLUTION: This device houses an attracting material 1 for termites and has a vertical and cylindrical case embedded in the ground in a state in which the upper opening 2 is exposed on the ground surface and an inverted bowl-like cover body 4 surrounding the periphery of upper opening 2 of the case 3. The inside of ceiling part 5 of the cover body 4 is formed so as to descendingly incline toward the upper opening 2 of the case 4 and dew condensation water S attached to the inside of the ceiling part 5 is dropped onto the upper opening 2 of the case 3.
