PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a unit type building capable of widening a degree of freedom of a wiring route of electric wire without impairing manufacturing efficiency of a beam. SOLUTION: A protection member 40 is interposed in a clearance 36 between a ceiling beam 32B of a lower story building unit 10 and a floor beam 33B of an upper story building unit 20. A VVF cable 43 is inserted into a through hole 42 of the protection member 40. Consequently, it is possible to prevent the damage of the VVF cable 43 inserted into the clearance 36, dispense with the work for drilling holes in the beams 32B, 33B, and ensure manufacturing efficiency of the beams 32B, 33B. Moreover, since the protection member 40 can be arranged at an arbitrary position in the clearance 36, a wiring route of the VVF cable 43 can be set to an arbitrary position.
