PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide good rice taste and lessen the troublesome rice washing work. SOLUTION: A separate basket 30 for storing rice and a container 14 for housing a rotation tool 40 having blades 48 for polishing or washing rice are attached to a rice polishing machine main body 1 containing an electric motor 50 in a detachable manner and the container is made to be a water-leakage proofing structure. Rice polishing is carried out by rotating the rotation tool 40 and rice washing is carried out using the container 14.
