PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a breathable bag which can be well deaerated on filling, is free from giving bad impressions to consumers with stains at a breathable base because of its structure wherein the breathable base is not exposed to the surface and also free from giving damages to contents even though the bag is wetted by water. SOLUTION: A breathable bag is formed in a square shape out of two sheets of laminated films 1, each having a thermoplastic resin layer at its inside, with edges at four sides thereof being heat sealed, and a breathable base 4, being folded double, is inserted at least into one side of the opposite two sides of the bag with edges thereof being bonded, extending all over the heat-sealed edges 4b, to the opposite faces of the two laminated films 1, and deaeration means are formed at the breathable base 4 on positions closer to the heat-sealed edge than the bonded edge of the breathable base.
