PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a band saw cutter suitable for in-line cutting capable of cutting a large-sized work or a work of a complicated shape at an arbitrary angle. SOLUTION: The band saw cutter supports a cutting head 6 having a large entrance depth of a sinus-like part 10a by bridging a band saw 15 between wheels by a column 5 and vertically moves the head 6 by an elevation mechanism 7. The head 6 is turned by the rotation of a rotary table 4 for supporting the column 5 to change its cutting angle. Further, a cutter base 1 for supporting the table 4 is moved b a cross feeding mechanism and a longitudinal feeding mechanism to return a work cutting part 15a of the band saw displaced upon turning of the head to a predetermined cutting position.
