PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformalize the feed quantity of agricultural produce to a treating device and to heighten the filling rate of the agricultural produce into the treating device to improve treating efficiency. SOLUTION: This agricultural produce feeder is provided with: a vessel conveying means 3 for conveying a lot of vessels 2 containing agricultural produce; a take-up means provided in mid-way of conveyance of the vessel conveying means and for taking up the agricultural produce in vessels to feed it to a treating device; a detection means for detecting the presence or absence of the agricultural produce present in the vessels in which take-out work of the agricultural produce is performed by the prescribed take-out work of the take-out means; a sorting means for sorting empty vessels and vessels in which agricultural produce remains based on the detection result of the detection means, and a means 10 for conveying the vessels in which agricultural produce remains for conveying the vessels in which agricultural produce remains sorted by the sorting means to, for example, vicinities of a posture correction work position or the like for arranging the posture of the agricultural produce by manual work disposed at the starting end side of the treating device.
