PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To tear off a resin coating on an inner surface even from a metallic tube of such a small diameter as can not access an inner surface of the metallic tube. SOLUTION: In this method, a grip margin 2a is prepared by tearing off a resin coating 2 at one end of a metallic tube 1, and the grip margin 2a is connected to a holding and drawing means 4 inserted into the metallic tube 1. Then, the grip margin 2a is reversed. A tube body near a peeling front line 6 is heated by a locally heating means 5 so that an adhesion strength is temporarily decreased. While a heating position is successively transferred by moving successively the locally heating means 5 in a pipe axis direction, the holding and drawing means 4 is extracted toward the other end of the metallic tube 1, and the resin coating 2 can be torn off while it is reversed.
