PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a take-up device capable of easily obtaining a necessary twist yarn package by using a small space and little electric power consumption when e.g. conducting an inspection for fabric about a package produced through a doubling step and twist yarn step, of easily determining various kinds of doubling conditions and take-up conditions, and capable of quickly setting the package after doubling to a yarn double-twisting machine. SOLUTION: This device is obtained by continuously and linearly disposing the followings: a doubling machine 2 provided with predetermined weights designed to double and take up yarns Y from a plurality of yarn-feeding packages 27 and 27; a yarn double-twisting machine 1 provided with predetermined weights designed to twist the yarns Y released from a yarn-feeding package 15 while ballooning the yarns Y around the package 15 by rotating a spindle; and a control box 3 having a display section 3 and input section 32. Each weight of the double-twisting machine 1 is provided with a take-up dram-driving motor 16 and a spindle-driving motor 17, and each weight of the doubling machine 2 is equipped with a take-up dram-driving motor 28. The take-up conditions of the doubling machine 2 and yarn double-twisting machine 1 can be set from one place by using a common display section 31 and an input section 32 common thereto.
